Settings


1.Overview

The Settings page allows you to configure your restaurant’s general information, notification behavior, and guest contact preferences. This page helps you control how feedback is collected, how your team is notified, and how guests are encouraged to share their details.

You can access the Settings page at any time by clicking Settings in the left side navigation menu.

2.Navigation

At the top right of the Settings page, you will find the Video tutorial button.Clicking this button opens a guided walkthrough explaining how to configure and use the Settings page. 

  • Restaurant Information

At the top of the page, you need to set your restaurant name and logo.

  • Location

The Location section allows you to define where your restaurant operates.



  •  Push Notifications

The Push Notifications section allows you to control which feedback ratings trigger notifications to waiters.You can select from here which feedback types should send push notifications to your staff.

Available feedback types:

  • Meh…

  • Nice

  • Love it!

This helps you ensure that your team is alerted when attention or follow-up may be needed.

  •  Guest Contact Preferences

The Guest Contact Preferences section allows you to control how guest contact details are requested.

Available options include:

  • Ask for contact details (name and phone number)
    Enables the contact form for guests after they leave feedback.

  • Make details optional
    Allows guests to submit feedback without being required to enter their contact information.

These settings help balance guest comfort with your need for follow-up communication.


  •  Contact Form Texts

The Contact Form Texts section allows you to customize the messages shown to guests after they submit feedback, based on the rating they selected.

This feature helps you tailor communication and encourage guests to share additional details.

  • Sharing page texts 

The Sharing Page Text section allows you to customize the messages shown to guests after they submit feedback and enter or not their contact information, based on the rating they selected.

Each contact form text includes a language indicator. This allows you to manage and customize messages for different languages.




  • External Review Platforms

Here you can view and add links to your other rating platforms, such as Google, TripAdvisor, Instagram, Facebook, or your personal website.





3. How to Get Platform Links and Identifiers

To add your restaurant's external review platform links, you'll need to find the correct identifier or URL for each platform. Below is a guide for obtaining the required information:

Facebook

You need your Facebook page username.

  • Go to your restaurant's Facebook page

  • Look at the URL in your browser's address bar

  • The username appears after "facebook.com/"

  • Example: The page URL is www.facebook.com/ogradadinbrasov/, the username is ogradadinbrasov

  • Enter only the username (without facebook.com/)

Instagram

You need your Instagram account username.

  • Go to your restaurant's Instagram profile

  • Look at the URL in your browser's address bar

  • The username appears after "instagram.com/"

  • Example: If your profile URL is www.instagram.com/restaurantname/, your username is restaurantname

  • Enter only the username (without instagram.com/)

Google

You need your Google Places ID.



TripAdvisor

You need your restaurant's review page URL.

  • Go to your restaurant's page on TripAdvisor

  • Click on the "Write a Review" or "Review" button

  • Copy the full URL from your browser's address bar after clicking the review button

  • Paste the complete URL into the settings field
